THE FOUR QUESTIONS THAT SOLVE MOST PROBLEMS

What exactly happens? When did it start? What changed? Does it affect everyone, or only you?

Almost every problem follows a change. Find the change and you have usually found the cause.

FOR ANY EMAIL PROBLEM

Does webmail work?

It separates server problems from client configuration immediately.

FOR ANY SITE PROBLEM

Check from mobile data, on a phone, in a private window.

A problem only you see is local: caching, DNS, or a blocked address.

READ THE ERROR LOG

For a white page or a 500 error, the log names the file and the line.

Guessing without it wastes hours.

THE FASTEST PLUGIN TEST

Rename the plugins directory in File Manager. That disables all of them at once.

THE SETTINGS-THAT-WILL-NOT-SAVE CAUSE

max_input_vars, truncating large submissions silently. No error appears.

THE DATABASE CONNECTION ERROR AFTER MIGRATING

The cPanel username prefix on database and user names.

THE CERTIFICATE WARNING CAUSE

A domain or subdomain added without running AutoSSL afterwards.

WHEN ASKING FOR HELP

The exact error, the domain, when it started, and what you already ruled out.
