The approach that works.

THE FIRST FOUR QUESTIONS

What exactly happens? When did it start? What changed? Does it affect everyone, or only you?

WHY THOSE

They eliminate most possibilities immediately.

THE "WHAT CHANGED" QUESTION

Almost every problem follows a change: an update, a plugin, a setting, a DNS change, an expiry.

Establish what changed and you have usually found it.

THE "EVERYONE OR ONLY YOU" QUESTION

Check from another network and another device.

A problem only you see is local: caching, DNS, or your network.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

Change one thing at a time Test after each Record what you tried

WHY ONE AT A TIME

Changing several things means you never learn which fixed it, and you may cause new problems.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE CHANGING ANYTHING

Back up.

WHAT TO AVOID

Following instructions you do not understand Applying fixes for a different problem Panicking and changing many settings

WHEN TO ASK FOR HELP

When you have established the facts and cannot proceed.

Open a ticket with what you found.
