Registration is part of an order, or can be added at any time.
REGISTERING ONE
- Search for the name from the Client Area or the website.
- Confirm it is available and check both the registration and the renewal price.
- Add it to your order, choosing the registration period. Longer periods lock in the price and reduce the chance of an accidental lapse.
- Enter or confirm the registrant contact details. These are held at the registry and are separate from your Client Area profile.
- Enable ID protection where the extension supports it.
- Pay.
AFTER REGISTRATION
Most generic extensions register within minutes. Some country-code and restricted extensions take longer and may require documentation.
The domain appears under Domains > My Domains, where you can set nameservers, manage DNS, and enable auto-renewal.
CHECK THE SPELLING BEFORE PAYING
Domain registrations are not refundable. Once registered, the registry fee is spent and the registration is made in the name you supplied. A typo becomes a domain you own and do not want.
TURN ON AUTO-RENEWAL IMMEDIATELY
It is the single most effective thing you can do to avoid losing the domain later.
