The sequence is predictable, and knowing it prevents unnecessary worry.
WITHIN MINUTES
Payment confirms, the account is provisioned automatically, and the welcome email is sent. Services > My Services shows the service as Active.
WHAT TO DO FIRST
- Save the welcome email. It contains your cPanel credentials, your nameservers and your server name.
- Log in to cPanel and change the password.
- Point your domain at the nameservers shown for your account. They will be either ns3 and ns4 or ns10 and ns11.zillionkinghost.com, depending on the server. Do not guess.
- While DNS propagates, use the temporary URL or a hosts file entry to start building.
- Once the domain resolves, run AutoSSL and enable Force HTTPS.
- Create your email accounts.
IF THE WELCOME EMAIL HAS NOT ARRIVED
Check spam. Then check Services > My Services; if the service is Active, the account exists and you can reach cPanel from there regardless of the email.
IF THE SERVICE IS STILL PENDING
After a couple of hours with payment confirmed, open a ticket with the invoice number.
