Understanding the Dashboard Print

  • clientportal, client, clientarea, billing, domain, domainrenewal, downtime, cpanel, plugins, bandwidth

The dashboard is designed to answer "is anything wrong" at a glance.

WHAT IT SHOWS

Active services and their next due dates Unpaid and overdue invoices Open support tickets awaiting your reply or ours Domains approaching expiry Your account credit balance Recent announcements

HOW TO READ IT

Anything highlighted needs attention. An overdue invoice or a domain expiring within thirty days is the sort of thing that causes an outage if left.

A ticket marked "Customer Reply Required" means we are waiting on you, and nothing will progress until you reply. This is a common cause of a ticket appearing to be ignored.

WHAT IT DOES NOT SHOW

Your website's health. The dashboard reflects your account with us, not whether your site is working. A site broken by a plugin update looks perfectly normal here.

Disk and bandwidth usage in detail. That lives in cPanel.

A GOOD HABIT

Look at it once a month even when nothing seems wrong. Most billing and domain problems are visible here weeks before they become outages.
