Sub-accounts let a colleague, developer or accountant access the parts of your account relevant to them, without sharing your login.
ADDING ONE
Account > Contacts > Add New Contact. Enter their name and email, and choose which notifications they receive: general, invoice, support, product or domain.
Enable sub-account access if they need to log in, and select the permissions they should have.
WHY THIS IS BETTER THAN SHARING A LOGIN
Each person has their own credentials, so access can be revoked individually You can see who did what Notifications reach the right person automatically Two-factor authentication works properly per person
TYPICAL USES
An accountant receiving invoices only A developer able to open support tickets and reach cPanel, but not billing A business partner with full access A colleague covering while you are away
REVIEW PERIODICALLY
Remove contacts for people no longer involved. Old access is a common route into accounts, and this takes thirty seconds.
WHAT SUB-ACCOUNTS DO NOT CHANGE
The registered account holder remains the owner. Ownership changes follow the separate transfer process.
