WHERE IT HELPS
Explaining how to achieve something in a tool Suggesting approaches Writing copy for a design Describing what you want to a designer
FOR EXPLAINING TOOLS
"How do I [do what] in [tool]?"
Useful, and interface details change. Verify against the current version.
FOR BRIEFING A DESIGNER
"Help me describe what I want for [design]. Audience, purpose, feeling, constraints."
Most design projects go wrong because the brief was vague.
FOR IMAGE EDITING FEATURES
Many tools now include AI removal, extension and adjustment.
Useful within limits.
WHERE THE LINE SITS
Ordinary adjustment is normal.
Removing or adding elements changes what the image shows.
For property, products, documentary or evidential images, that is misrepresentation.
FOR GENERATED IMAGES
Check the tool's terms on ownership and commercial use.
Never present them as photographs of real things.
