Not summarise what they just read, which they remember.
WHAT AI PRODUCES BY DEFAULT
"In conclusion, X is an important consideration for businesses of all sizes."
Filler.
HOW TO GET SOMETHING USEFUL
"End with the single most important thing the reader should do, stated specifically. No summary."
WHAT WORKS
One clear action The most important point restated, if it genuinely bears repeating
A next step: what to read, what to try, who to contact
THE CALL TO ACTION
Specific. "Call us on [number] if you are unsure which plan suits" beats "contact us today".
NOT EVERY ARTICLE NEEDS A SALES ACTION
An article answering a question can simply answer it.
Constant selling at the end of every piece trains readers to stop before it.
THE TEST
Does the ending give the reader something to do, or does it just stop?
