What to build, and what to leave out.
WHAT YOU ACTUALLY NEED
A homepage saying what you do, for whom, and where A page per main service or product An about page with real names and photographs A contact page with a phone number A privacy notice
Five to ten pages. That is enough for most businesses for a long time.
WHAT TO PUT FIRST
Your phone number, visible without scrolling, on a phone.
Many Nigerian customers will call rather than fill in a form. Make it tappable.
WHAT TO LEAVE OUT
Sliders Elaborate animations A blog you will not maintain Features nobody asked for
BUILDING IT
WordPress through Softaculous, with a light theme, is the usual route and the one with the most available help.
Or a designer, if the site matters commercially and you would rather not.
WHAT MATTERS MOST
Clarity, speed on a mobile connection, and being easy to contact.
Not visual sophistication.
THE TIMELINE
A simple site can be live in a weekend. An elaborate one waits months for content.
