WHY .COM.NG IS NOT A COMPROMISE
For a business serving Nigerian customers, a .com.ng signals local presence. That is an advantage, not a second choice.
It is also far more likely to be available for the name you actually want.
WHEN .COM MATTERS
If you sell internationally, or your customers are outside Nigeria, a .com carries broader assumption.
Many Nigerian businesses register both, using one as the main site and redirecting the other.
CHOOSING THE NAME
Short, easy to spell from hearing it, and pronounceable. You will say it on the phone constantly.
Avoid hyphens and numbers, which cause confusion when spoken.
BEFORE REGISTERING
Check the spelling carefully. Domain registrations cannot be reversed.
Check social media handle availability at the same time.
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Some .ng extensions have eligibility rules and may take longer than a .com. If unsure, open a ticket and ask before ordering.
