Getting it ready before the build.
WHY IT MATTERS
The most common reason website projects stall is content. The design is finished and the site sits unlaunched for months waiting for text.
WHAT TO PREPARE
A document per page, with the heading, the content, and the intended action A list of images needed Contact details, hours, service areas Testimonials, with permission Any credentials, registration numbers or certifications Logo in a usable format
WHERE TO FIND IT
Existing brochures, proposals and emails frequently contain most of the text already.
What you say to customers on the phone is usually better than anything you would compose.
GATHERING IMAGES
Photograph your work as you do it, over several weeks. Assembling a set on the day they are needed produces poor photographs.
WHAT TO DECIDE
Who writes it By when Who approves it
Without those three answered, it does not happen.
BE REALISTIC
Writing a dozen pages properly takes longer than people expect. Start before the build, not during it.
