What works for shops specifically.
WHAT SELLS
Photographs of actual products, well lit Products in use, or being made Customer photos, with permission
Behind the scenes: packing, sourcing, the workshop
Answers to questions customers actually ask
WHAT DOES NOT
Posting only product photos with a price Stock images Posting constantly without engaging
PRACTICAL POINTS
Put the shop link where the platform allows it, and keep it current Link to the product, not the homepage. A customer who has to search for what they saw usually does not Reply to comments and messages quickly. On social platforms, a slow reply reads as a closed shop Use the platform your customers actually use, rather than all of them badly
For many Nigerian shops this is where customers actually talk. A WhatsApp button on product pages converts well, provided someone answers.
Be ready to take the order through the shop rather than by message, or you lose the record and the payment trail.
