Running a sale without editing every product twice.

SETTING A SALE PRICE

On the product's General tab, enter a Sale price below the Regular price. The shop shows both, with the original struck through.

SCHEDULING IT

Click Schedule beside the sale price and set start and end dates. The sale begins and ends automatically, so you do not have to remember to turn it off.

Scheduled sales depend on cron. Since HTTP wp-cron is blocked on our servers, the real cron job must be configured or sales will not start or end on time.

IN BULK

Products > All Products, select products, Bulk Edit, and set the sale price as a percentage reduction from the regular price.

FOR VARIABLE PRODUCTS

Sale prices are set per variation. Bulk editing variations is available on the product's Variations tab.

PRACTICAL ADVICE

Check the margin on sale items before running the sale, not after Do not leave a permanent sale price. Customers notice, and it stops being persuasive Purge the cache after changing prices, or customers see the old ones
