Place a real order with each enabled method, using a small amount, and refund afterwards. Test mode proves the integration; a live transaction proves the settlement, the webhook and the emails.
TEST THE WHOLE JOURNEY
Browse the shop, add to cart, change a quantity, apply a coupon if you use them, proceed to checkout, complete payment, and read the confirmation page.
CHECK WHAT HAPPENS AFTERWARDS
The order appears in WooCommerce > Orders with the right status The customer confirmation email arrives, and reads correctly The admin notification reaches you Stock decreased if you track it
TEST ON A PHONE
Most customers will buy on a phone. Check every step on a small screen, including the payment page.
TEST AS A GUEST
Log out and buy without an account. Guest checkout is where most new customers buy.
TEST FAILURE
Abandon a payment halfway and confirm the order does not complete and stock is not wrongly reduced.
