Offline methods, widely used and worth enabling.
BANK TRANSFER
WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Direct bank transfer. Enable it and enter your account details, which are then shown on the order confirmation.
Orders are placed as on-hold. You confirm the payment arrived, then mark the order processing and dispatch.
Practical points: Ask customers to use the order number as the transfer reference, and say so in the instructions Say how long you will hold an order awaiting payment Check for payments at set times rather than continuously
CASH ON DELIVERY
Enable under the same settings page. Consider restricting it to shipping zones where you or your courier can actually collect payment.
The risk is refused deliveries. Mitigate by confirming the order by phone before dispatch for anything of value, and by keeping a record of customers who refuse repeatedly.
WHY OFFER THEM
Many Nigerian customers prefer transfer or cash, particularly for a first purchase from an unfamiliar shop. Refusing those methods refuses those customers.
