Similar process, with its own details.

BEFORE STARTING

Create and verify a Flutterwave account, with a settlement bank account in the business's name.

INSTALLING

  1. Install the official Flutterwave WooCommerce plugin.
  2. WooCommerce > Settings > Payments, enable it, and click Manage.
  3. Enter the public key, secret key and encryption key from your Flutterwave dashboard.
  4. Set the webhook URL in the dashboard and the matching secret hash in the plugin.

CHOOSING PAYMENT OPTIONS

Flutterwave lets you enable cards, bank transfer, USSD and mobile money. Enable the ones your customers use and disable the rest; a checkout offering eight options nobody recognises reduces conversions.

TESTING

Use test mode and their test credentials. Place an order, confirm it completes, and confirm the order status updates in WooCommerce.

GOING LIVE

Switch to live keys, then make one real low-value purchase yourself and refund it.

IF PAYMENTS SUCCEED BUT ORDERS STAY PENDING

The webhook or the secret hash is wrong. That is nearly always the cause.
