Most product descriptions are a list of specifications nobody reads.
THE SHORT DESCRIPTION
Appears beside the price and is what most customers actually read. Two or three sentences saying what it is and why someone wants it.
THE LONG DESCRIPTION
Details, specifications, care instructions, what is included. Use headings and short paragraphs; nobody reads a wall of text.
WHAT TO INCLUDE
What it actually is, plainly The problem it solves or the occasion it suits Size, material, dimensions, what is in the box
Anything that prevents a return: fit, colour accuracy, compatibility
WHAT TO AVOID
Copying the manufacturer's text, which every competitor also has and search engines ignore
Marketing language with no content: "premium quality", "best in class"
Descriptions so short the customer has to ask a question before buying
