The Gmail app on Android and iPhone can handle your business address alongside a Gmail account.

THE STEPS

  1. Open Gmail and tap your profile picture, then Add another account.
  2. Choose Other, not Google.
  3. Enter the full email address and tap Next.
  4. Choose Personal (IMAP).
  5. Enter the password.
  6. Incoming: server mail.yourdomain.com, port 993, security SSL/TLS, username the full address.
  7. Outgoing: server mail.yourdomain.com, port 465, security SSL/TLS, sign-in required, same username and password.
  8. Set sync frequency and finish.

WHY THIS IS POPULAR

One app for personal and business mail, with an interface most people already know.

THINGS TO WATCH

Check which account is selected before composing. Replying to a customer from a personal Gmail address is easy to do by accident and hard to explain. Set a signature per account under Settings, since Gmail keeps them separate. Gmail's spam filtering applies on top of ours, so check its spam folder too when mail goes missing.
