Using Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 With Your Domain Print

You can host your website with us and your email elsewhere.

WHEN THIS MAKES SENSE

You need the collaboration tools: shared documents, calendars, video meetings

You send a high volume and want their deliverability infrastructure Your team already lives in those tools

WHAT TO CHANGE

  1. Replace the MX records with your provider's, in whichever DNS system your nameservers point at.
  2. Set email routing to Remote Mail Exchanger, in cPanel > Email Routing. This is the step people miss, and without it our server keeps delivering mail into a local mailbox where nobody sees it.
  3. Add their SPF include to your existing SPF record. Do not create a second SPF record.
  4. Add their DKIM record.
  5. Remove our SPF include if we no longer send your mail.

WHAT STAYS WITH US

Your website, and any mail your website sends, unless you route that through the provider too.

COST

These are paid per user per month. For a small team the cost is real; weigh it against what cPanel mail already gives you free.
