WHY TIMING MATTERS
Redeemed rewards become credit, and credit is applied automatically when an invoice is generated. Redeeming shortly before a renewal invoice is raised means the credit is there when it is needed.
Redeeming after you have already paid an invoice means the credit sits waiting for the next one, which may be months away.
THE SEQUENCE
- Check Services > My Services for your next due date.
- Check your rewards balance a week or two before.
- Redeem if the balance meets the minimum.
- The credit applies automatically when the invoice is generated.
IF THE INVOICE IS ALREADY GENERATED
Credit still applies to an unpaid invoice in most cases. Redeem and then check the invoice balance before paying.
If it has already been paid, the credit carries forward.
FOR MULTIPLE SERVICES
Credit applies to invoices in order, so it may be used against whichever renewal comes first rather than the one you had in mind. If that matters, ask in a ticket before redeeming.
