Reseller hosting gives you WHM and the ability to create cPanel accounts for clients.

BEFORE ORDERING

Be clear this is what you need. If you have one website, shared hosting is simpler and cheaper. Reseller suits designers, agencies and anyone selling hosting under their own name.

WHAT TO CONSIDER

Total disk, bandwidth and account allowances against how many clients you expect Whether you will use private nameservers, which needs a domain of your own Whether you will use a billing system such as WHMCS

ORDERING

Choose the reseller plan and billing cycle, and provide a domain for the account. Ordering is otherwise the same as shared hosting.

AFTER ORDERING

Your welcome email contains WHM credentials and your nameservers. Create packages first, then accounts.

If you want private nameservers, set up glue records at your registrar and open a ticket asking us to register them.

WHAT TO BUDGET FOR

Support time. Selling hosting means answering client questions at inconvenient hours. Price for that, not for disk space.

Ask in a Sales ticket if you are unsure whether reseller or a VPS fits better.
