Two minutes here prevents most order problems.
CHECK THE DOMAIN SPELLING
Character by character, including the extension. Registrations cannot be reversed.
CHECK WHAT IS ACTUALLY IN THE CART
It is easy to leave an add-on ticked from a previous step, or to have both a domain registration and a transfer for the same name.
CHECK THE BILLING CYCLE
This sets your renewal rhythm. Changing it later is possible but tidier to get right now.
CHECK THE RECURRING PRICE
The cart shows today's total and the recurring amount. Where an introductory price applies, the recurring figure is what you will actually pay next time. Look at it now rather than discovering it on the renewal invoice.
CHECK ANY PROMOTIONAL CODE APPLIED
The discount should be visible in the summary. If it is not shown, it has not applied, and it usually cannot be applied retrospectively.
CHECK THE CURRENCY
If your card is in a different currency, your bank converts at its own rate and may add a fee.
IF SOMETHING LOOKS WRONG
Go back and fix it. Do not pay intending to sort it out afterwards, particularly where domains are involved.
