Ordering With a Deadline Print

If something must be live by a date, plan backwards.

WHAT IS FAST

Shared hosting provisioning after a card or Paystack payment: minutes

Generic domain registrations: minutes

AutoSSL once the domain resolves: minutes

WHAT IS NOT

Bank transfer verification: hours to days

DNS propagation after a nameserver change: up to 24 hours

Restricted domain extensions requiring documentation: days

  • Organisation and extended-validation SSL: days
  • Website migration: allow several days for scheduling
  • Orders held for fraud review: until you respond

PRACTICAL PLANNING

Order at least a week before a launch, not the day before. Pay by card or Paystack for anything time-sensitive. Point the domain as soon as the account exists, so propagation runs while you build. Tell us about the deadline in a ticket. We will avoid scheduling optional maintenance around it and will prioritise anything that needs our input.

WHAT NOT TO ASSUME

That DNS propagation can be accelerated. It cannot. Lowering the TTL beforehand helps; nothing helps afterwards.
