The price you pay first is not always the price you pay next.
WHY THEY DIFFER
Introductory pricing on first terms is standard across the hosting and domain industry Domain registries set wholesale prices and adjust them Exchange rates move, and much of the upstream cost is priced in US dollars
WHERE TO CHECK BEFORE ORDERING
The cart shows both today's total and the recurring amount. Look at the recurring figure.
AFTER ORDERING
Services > My Services shows the recurring amount for each service. Domains > My Domains shows domain expiry dates, with renewal pricing on the invoice when generated.
DOMAINS IN PARTICULAR
Some newer extensions register very cheaply and renew at many times the price. Check both figures before choosing an unusual extension for a business you intend to keep.
WHAT TO DO WITH THE INFORMATION
Budget for the real figure, not the introductory one Consider a longer initial term where the promotional rate applies to it Decide before the renewal date if the standard price no longer suits, rather than letting it lapse by inaction
Ask in a Sales ticket if a renewal price is not clear. We would rather tell you now.
