Outgoing problems.
WHAT TO CHECK FIRST
Whether receiving works.
If receiving works and sending does not, the problem is outgoing configuration.
THE MOST COMMON CAUSES
Outgoing authentication not enabled Wrong outgoing port Wrong encryption setting for that port Your network blocking the outgoing port
THE AUTHENTICATION POINT
Your client must authenticate to send.
Many clients have this disabled by default.
THE NETWORK POINT
Some networks block the standard outgoing port.
Try the alternative port cPanel lists.
WHAT ELSE CAUSES IT
Exceeding a sending limit A message too large A recipient rejecting it
THE SENDING LIMIT
Accounts have hourly sending limits.
Exceeding one temporarily prevents sending.
WHAT TO CHECK
The exact error message. It usually states the reason.
WHAT TO TRY
Sending from webmail.
If that works, the problem is your client configuration.
