Prioritising.

WHAT TO WRITE FIRST

The question you are asked most often.

Then the second most often.

WHY

Highest value, least research, and you already know the answer.

WHAT ELSE TO PRIORITISE

Subjects close to a purchase decision Questions that stop people buying Problems people search for urgently

THE PURCHASE PROXIMITY POINT

An article about choosing between two options you sell is worth more than a general industry piece.

WHAT TO DEPRIORITISE

Subjects with no connection to what you sell Very broad topics where established sites dominate Anything you have nothing specific to say about

THE COMPETITION CHECK

Search for the subject. Look at what ranks.

If the results are all substantial established sites, choose a narrower angle.

THE NARROWER ANGLE

"Generator repair" is contested. "Why a generator smokes when starting" is not.

Specific questions are both easier to rank for and more useful.

WHAT TO AIM FOR

Subjects where you can produce the best available answer.
