What to avoid asking.
"MAKE THIS BETTER"
No direction, so it changes things arbitrarily and frequently makes it worse.
Say what is wrong instead.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK?"
Invites agreement. Ask for objections.
"WRITE AN ARTICLE ABOUT X"
Produces something generic that says nothing.
Add audience, purpose, length and your own material.
"IS THIS CORRECT?"
It will assert confidence either way.
Verify independently.
"ARE YOU SURE?"
Same problem.
"FIND ME SOURCES ON X"
Produces fabricated citations.
Search properly, then supply what you found.
"WHAT IS THE MARKET SIZE FOR X?"
Produces invented figures.
"WHAT SHOULD I CHARGE?"
Produces a number with no basis.
Calculate your costs.
"HOW MUCH DOES X COST IN NIGERIA?"
Invented. Check actual suppliers.
WHAT THESE HAVE IN COMMON
They ask for facts rather than for language.
