Moving away from a provider you cannot contact.
THE SITUATION
Your current host is unresponsive, or your site is down and nobody answers.
WHAT YOU CAN STILL DO
If you control the domain at its registrar, you can point it anywhere.
That is the key question: do you have registrar access?
IF YOU HAVE REGISTRAR ACCESS
Order hosting with us Rebuild or restore the site, if you have a backup Change the nameservers to ours
The site is then live on our servers regardless of the old host.
IF YOU HAVE A BACKUP
Provide it and we can help restore it.
IF YOU DO NOT
You may need to rebuild. An archive service may hold copies of your public pages, which recovers text if not code.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE REGISTRAR ACCESS
That is the more serious problem, and it must be resolved first.
Open a ticket and we will advise on what is possible.
THE LESSON
Register domains in your own name, keep registrar access, and keep backups you control.
