Protecting your allocation.

THE PROBLEM

Clients install nulled themes and plugins because the legitimate version costs money.

Whoever removed the licence check also added something: a backdoor, a card skimmer, or spam injection.

WHY IT BECOMES YOUR PROBLEM

The site is compromised The compromise may spread within the account Your allocation sends spam Your reputation and ours is affected You do the cleanup

WHAT TO DO

Prohibit it in your terms explicitly Tell clients why, plainly, at onboarding Check for it when you take on a site

TELLING CLIENTS WHY

Not "it is against the rules". Explain that the code has been modified by someone whose interests are not theirs, and that the cost of a compromise exceeds the licence.

Most clients stop when they understand.

WHAT TO OFFER INSTEAD

Free alternatives that do the job A cheaper legitimate product Buying the licence and charging it on

CHECKING

When taking on a site, look at what is installed. Premium plugins with no licence key are the signal.

IF YOU FIND IT

Tell the client, remove it, and replace it properly.
