Webmail lets you read and send email from any browser with no setup.
THREE WAYS IN
- Direct: https://yourdomain.com/webmail then enter the full email address and its password.
- Through cPanel: Email Accounts > Check Email beside the mailbox. No password needed.
- Port URL: https://yourdomain.com:2096
CHOOSING A CLIENT
Roundcube is the usual choice. It is clean, fast and handles folders, contacts and filters well. Set it as your default with "Open my inbox when I log in" so you skip the selection screen each time.
USEFUL FEATURES
Settings > Identities: set your display name and a signature. Settings > Filters: move messages into folders automatically.
Contacts: an address book stored on the server.
Folders: create and subscribe to folders here if they are not visible.
LIMITATIONS
Webmail is for day-to-day access, not bulk sending. Shared hosting has hourly send limits and newsletters should go through a proper provider.
If webmail will not load, check your domain resolves and that you are using the full email address as the username, not just the part before the @.
