How to Download Your Website Files Using JetBackup in cPanel at ZillionKingHost

At ZillionKingHost, we provide JetBackup through cPanel to help you easily access, download, and restore backups of your website. This guide will walk you through the process of downloading your website files using JetBackup.

What is JetBackup?

JetBackup is a backup management system integrated into your cPanel account. It allows you to:

  • Download website files
  • Download databases
  • Download full account backups
  • Restore files and folders
  • Restore databases
  • Access previous backup versions

This gives you complete control over your website backups directly from your hosting account.

Step 1: Log in to Your cPanel Account

  1. Visit your cPanel login URL provided by ZillionKingHost.
  2. Enter your cPanel username and password.
  3. Click Log In.

Step 2: Open JetBackup

After logging into cPanel:

  1. Scroll down to the Files section.
  2. Click JetBackup 5.

You will be taken to the JetBackup dashboard where all available backups are displayed.

Step 3: Open File Backups

  1. Click File Backups.
  2. You will see a list of available backup dates.
  3. Select the backup date you wish to access.

The most recent backup is usually recommended unless you need files from a specific date.

Step 4: Browse Your Website Files

After selecting a backup date:

  1. Browse through the folder structure.
  2. Locate the files or folders you want to download.

Common website locations include:

  • public_html
  • www
  • addon domain folders
  • subdomain folders

For WordPress websites, your website files are usually stored inside:

public_html

Step 5: Download Website Files

To download an individual file:

  1. Select the file.
  2. Click Download Selected.

To download an entire folder:

  1. Select the folder.
  2. Click Download Selected.

JetBackup will begin preparing the download package.

Step 6: Check Download Progress

  1. Click Queue within JetBackup.
  2. Wait for the task status to change to Completed.
  3. Click the Download button.

Your backup archive will then be downloaded to your computer.

How to Download a Full Website Backup

A Full Backup contains a complete copy of your hosting account.

To download a Full Backup:

  1. Open JetBackup 5.
  2. Click Full Backups.
  3. Select the desired backup date.
  4. Click Download.
  5. Wait for JetBackup to generate the backup archive.
  6. Download the completed backup file.

A Full Backup may include:

  • Website files
  • Databases
  • Email accounts
  • Email messages
  • DNS records
  • cPanel account settings

How to Download Database Backups

If you only need your website database:

  1. Open JetBackup 5.
  2. Click Database Backups.
  3. Select the database you want.
  4. Choose the backup date.
  5. Click Download.

The database backup file will be generated and made available for download.

Important Information

  • Large backups may take several minutes to prepare.
  • Keep the browser window open while JetBackup processes your request.
  • Ensure your computer has sufficient storage space before downloading large backups.
  • Backup availability depends on your hosting package and retention policy.

Troubleshooting

Download Button Not Available

Refresh the page and try again. If the issue persists, contact ZillionKingHost Support.

Backup Stuck in Queue

Large backups can take longer to generate. Wait a few minutes and refresh the Queue page.

Download Failed

Please contact our support team and provide:

  • Your cPanel username
  • The backup date selected
  • A screenshot of the error message

This will help us investigate the issue quickly.
