The page that decides whether people stay.

THE FIRST SCREEN

What you do, for whom, and where. In plain language.

A visitor should understand within about five seconds.

WHAT NOT TO PUT THERE

A slogan nobody can decode A stock photograph of people in a meeting A slider that changes before anyone reads it A welcome message about your journey

BELOW THAT

Your main services or products, briefly, each linking to its own page Why someone should choose you, specifically

Proof: testimonials, examples, credentials

A clear next step

WHAT THE HOMEPAGE IS FOR

Orienting visitors and sending them where they need to go. It is not where you make the complete case for anything.

THE CONTACT DETAILS

Phone number visible without scrolling, particularly for a local service business. Many visitors want to call rather than read.

THE TEST

Show it to someone unfamiliar with your business for five seconds, then ask what you do.

If they cannot say, the first screen is wrong.
