Your cPanel password protects every file, database and mailbox on your account. Change it immediately if you suspect it has been shared or exposed.
FROM WITHIN CPANEL
- Log in to cPanel.
- Click your username at the top right, then Password & Security.
- Enter your old password, then the new password twice.
- Use the Password Generator for a strong value.
- Click Change your password.
FROM THE CLIENT AREA
- Log in at https://zillionkinghost.com/billing/
- Services > My Services > click your package.
- Use the "Change Password" section and save.
IMPORTANT SIDE EFFECTS
Changing the cPanel password does NOT change your email account passwords, and does not change your WordPress login. It DOES break any saved FTP connection that used the main cPanel account, so update FileZilla or any deployment tool afterwards. Some backup and migration plugins store cPanel credentials. Update those too.
Never reuse your cPanel password anywhere else, and never email it in plain text.
