COMMON PROBLEMS
Content present on desktop and removed on mobile, which means engines do not see it Pop-ups covering the content on small screens Images not sized for mobile, wasting bandwidth Tables that do not fit
TESTING
Use your own phone on mobile data, not a desktop browser resized. The difference is substantial.
Search Console reports mobile usability problems.
THE PRACTICAL PRIORITY
If your site works well on a mid-range phone on a mobile connection, it works everywhere.
