You can move an existing site to us yourself in under an hour, or request our free migration service.

Free migration service

Open a ticket with your old host's cPanel login (or FTP plus database details) and the domain involved. We handle the transfer and tell you when to switch nameservers. This is the recommended route for business sites.

Do-it-yourself with a plugin

  1. On the old site install All-in-One WP Migration or Duplicator.
  2. Export the site and download the archive file.
  3. In your ZillionKingHost cPanel, install a fresh WordPress via Softaculous on the same domain.
  4. Log in to the new site, install the same migration plugin, and import the archive.
  5. Log in again using the old site's credentials — the import replaces the user table.
  6. Go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save.

Do-it-yourself manually

  1. Download public_html from the old host and export its database from phpMyAdmin.
  2. Upload the files to public_html here and extract them.
  3. Create a database and user in cPanel, then import the .sql file via phpMyAdmin.
  4. Edit wp-config.php with the new database name, user and password.

Final steps

Test the site using a hosts-file entry or preview link before changing nameservers. Once it looks right, point the domain at the nameservers shown in your Client Area, run AutoSSL, and only then cancel the old hosting — keep it for a week as insurance.
