Checking Certificate Status in cPanel Print

Where to see what is actually installed.

THE MAIN VIEW

cPanel > SSL/TLS Status lists every domain and subdomain with its certificate state, the issuer and the expiry date.

  • Green padlock: valid certificate, covered by AutoSSL
  • Warning icon: a problem, click the domain for the reason
  • No certificate: not yet issued

MORE DETAIL

cPanel > SSL/TLS > Manage SSL sites shows the installed certificates per domain, with the option to view the certificate itself or install a different one.

cPanel > SSL/TLS > Certificates lists certificates stored on the account.

WHAT TO CHECK PERIODICALLY

That every domain and subdomain shows a valid certificate That expiry dates are moving forward, indicating renewal is working That no domain is marked excluded unintentionally

IN THE BROWSER

Click the padlock in the address bar and view the certificate. It shows the issuer, the validity dates and the hostnames covered. This is what visitors' browsers are actually checking.
