Running AutoSSL Manually Print

  • sslcertificateshttps, ssl, domain, cpanel, https, domainrenewal, subdomain, support, redirects
  • 0

When you need a certificate now rather than at the next scheduled run.

THE STEPS

  1. Confirm the domain resolves to our server. AutoSSL cannot validate a domain that points elsewhere.
  2. cPanel > SSL/TLS Status.
  3. Tick the domains and subdomains you want covered. Use "Include during AutoSSL" if any are excluded.
  4. Click Run AutoSSL.
  5. Wait a few minutes and refresh the page.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

A green padlock beside each domain, with an expiry date some months ahead.

WHAT FAILURE LOOKS LIKE

A warning icon. Click the domain name to see the exact reason, which is far more useful than guessing.

AFTER IT SUCCEEDS

Set your application's site address to https:// Enable Force HTTPS Redirect under cPanel > Domains Check for mixed content

IF NOTHING HAPPENS

The run is queued rather than instant. Give it several minutes. If the status has not changed after fifteen, open a ticket with the domain name.
