Every ZillionKingHost hosting plan includes the Softaculous auto-installer, which sets up a complete WordPress site in about a minute. You do not need to download anything or create a database yourself.

Steps

  1. Log in to your cPanel account (either from the Client Area under Services → My Services → Login to cPanel, or at https://yourdomain.com/cpanel).
  2. Scroll to the Software section and click Softaculous Apps Installer (or WordPress Manager by Softaculous).
  3. Click the WordPress logo, then click Install Now.
  4. Set Choose Protocol to https:// if your SSL certificate is already active, otherwise choose http:// and switch it later.
  5. Select your domain from the Choose Domain dropdown.
  6. Leave In Directory empty if you want the site to load at yourdomain.com. If you leave the default wp in that box, your site will only be reachable at yourdomain.com/wp.
  7. Fill in Site Name and Site Description — both can be changed later.
  8. Under Admin Account, choose a username that is not "admin" and use the key icon to generate a strong password. Enter a working email address; password resets are sent there.
  9. Click Install and wait for the progress bar to finish.

After installation

Softaculous shows two links: your site address and your admin address (yourdomain.com/wp-admin). Save the admin password somewhere safe, then log in and go to Settings → Permalinks, choose Post name, and click Save — this gives you clean URLs and correct rewrite rules.

If the installer reports that the directory is not empty, it means files already exist there. Either pick a different directory or remove the existing files first via File Manager.
