A listing means receiving servers reject or filter your mail.
CHECKING
Use an online blacklist lookup against the address and your domain. It shows which lists you appear on.
FIX THE CAUSE FIRST
Delisting while the problem continues is refused, and repeated requests lengthen the process.
- Change all mailbox passwords on the account.
- Look for a script or form on your site being abused to send mail.
- Check for unauthorised forwarding rules in mailboxes.
- Confirm SPF, DKIM and DMARC are correct.
- Use cPanel > Track Delivery to confirm sending has actually stopped.
REQUESTING REMOVAL
Each blacklist has its own process, linked from the lookup results. Some delist automatically after a clean period. Others require a form explaining what happened and what you fixed. Be specific and honest.
AFTERWARDS
Send modestly for a few weeks. Reputation recovers with clean sending history, not with a request.
IF THE SHARED SERVER ADDRESS IS LISTED
That is ours to handle. Open a ticket. Anything specific to your own dedicated address and domain is yours.
