Your SPF record, if it names an IP address rather than only a hostname Reverse DNS, which should be requested for the new address Any mail client or application configured with a literal address rather than a hostname

Payment gateways with IP restrictions API providers with whitelists Partner systems Corporate firewalls at clients Remote MySQL access lists, if anything connects in
APPLICATIONS
Any configuration file, cron job or script referencing the old address Monitoring and uptime services configured against a literal address
DOCUMENTATION
Anywhere you have written the address down for colleagues or clients
WHY THIS MATTERS
Integrations fail silently. A payment gateway whitelist that was never updated does not announce itself until a customer tries to pay. Work through the list deliberately the day the address changes.
