Confirm rather than assume, particularly if you ordered it for a third-party integration.
CHECK IT IS ASSIGNED
cPanel's right-hand statistics panel should show a Dedicated IP Address distinct from the shared one.
CHECK DNS POINTS AT IT
Look up your domain's A record with any DNS tool. It should return the dedicated address, not the shared one and not Cloudflare's.
CHECK THE SITE LOADS
Visit the site in a private browsing window and confirm it loads normally over HTTPS with no certificate warning.
CHECK OUTBOUND MAIL, IF THAT IS WHY YOU ORDERED IT
Send a test message to an address you control at a major provider and examine the headers. They show the address the message was sent from.
CHECK THE THIRD PARTY, IF THAT IS WHY YOU ORDERED IT
Ask them to confirm they see connections from the expected address, and test the integration end to end. A whitelist entry that was never confirmed is a problem waiting for a busy day.
IF ANYTHING DOES NOT MATCH
Open a ticket with what you expected and what you observed, including the addresses involved.
