Say why you host with us, from experience, including what you have found limiting. A recommendation that mentions nothing negative is not believed.
Recommend something else where we are not the right fit. Your credibility with the person is worth more than any reward.
DISCLOSE
Tell people you receive something for the referral. Most do not mind. Discovering it later, when they did not know, damages trust in everything else you have said.

WHY THIS MATTERS BEYOND THE TERMS
A referral who signs up on the strength of an overclaim cancels, which reverses the reward anyway and leaves someone you know unhappy with a recommendation you made.
THE SENSIBLE APPROACH
Recommend us when someone asks and we genuinely fit. Do not chase referrals. The rewards are not worth compromising a relationship for.
