WHY IT HAPPENS
Product changes, cost changes, and adjustments to what the programme is designed to reward. Programmes that never change are unusual.
WHAT TO DO
Read the notices. Continuing to participate after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Check whether your existing content still describes things accurately. A change to what is commissionable may not affect your content, but a change to pricing usually does. Update anything in your content that quotes specific figures.
IF A CHANGE DOES NOT SUIT YOU
You are free to stop promoting at any time. There is no commitment. Cleared commission remains yours subject to the payout terms.
