The affiliates who earn most are those whose audience trusts them.

WHAT WORKS

Genuinely useful content that happens to include a recommendation. A tutorial on setting up a WordPress site, where hosting is part of the process, converts far better than a page listing hosting companies. Writing from actual experience. If you host with us, say what that has been like, including limitations. Recommending us where we fit, and something else where we do not. Credibility compounds. Disclosing the relationship. Say plainly that you earn a commission. Most audiences do not mind, and hiding it destroys trust when discovered.

WHAT DOES NOT WORK

Thin content built purely to carry affiliate links. It ranks poorly and converts worse. Overclaiming. Promising performance or uptime nobody can guarantee produces refunds, which reverse your commission anyway. Comparison tables where the outcome is obviously predetermined.

THE LONG VIEW

Affiliate income from content compounds over years. An article that ranks well produces referrals continuously with no further work. One written carelessly produces nothing and damages your reputation.
