Orders from an existing customer who already held an account Renewals, unless the terms specifically include them Orders subsequently refunded or cancelled Orders found to be fraudulent Referrals arriving without the tracking cookie Orders placed after the cookie period expired Referrals generated in breach of the programme terms
WHY SELF-REFERRAL IS EXCLUDED
An affiliate programme pays for bringing new customers. Ordering through your own link is not a referral, and attempting it can result in removal from the programme.
If you want a discount on your own hosting, use a promotional code, not your affiliate link.
REFERRING FAMILY OR YOUR OWN COMPANY
Read the terms. Some programmes treat this as self-referral. If you are unsure whether a referral qualifies, ask before rather than arguing afterwards.
