The rate and basis are set out in the programme terms.

THE GENERAL SHAPE

Commission is calculated on the value of the qualifying order placed by the customer you referred. The rate may vary by product, and some products may carry no commission.

WHAT TYPICALLY QUALIFIES

New hosting orders from customers who did not previously hold an account

WHAT TYPICALLY DOES NOT

Your own orders Renewals, unless the terms specifically include them Orders later refunded or cancelled Domain registrations, in many programmes, since the margin is minimal Add-ons, depending on the terms

WHEN IT IS CREDITED

At the point the referred order is paid, initially as pending. It becomes available after the holding period, which allows for refunds and cancellations.

CHECKING THE CURRENT TERMS

Read the programme terms in the Client Area rather than relying on what you remember. Rates and conditions can change, with notice.

IF A COMMISSION LOOKS WRONG

Open a ticket with the approximate date and what you expected. We can explain how a figure was arrived at, though we cannot disclose which customer it relates to.
