What to actually do, in order.
WEEKS ONE AND TWO
Join and copy your link Read the terms properly, once Test your link in a private browsing window Decide who your audience is and what they need
WEEKS THREE TO SIX
Write one genuinely useful piece of content where hosting is a natural part of the answer. A tutorial converts better than a review. Place one or two links where the reader needs them Add a plain disclosure
WEEKS SEVEN TO TWELVE
Write two or three more pieces Check the dashboard once a month, not daily Look at which content produces clicks
WHAT TO EXPECT
Probably very little commission in ninety days. Content takes months to rank, and rankings are where sustained referrals come from.
WHAT WOULD MAKE IT DIFFERENT
If you already have an audience, or you build websites for clients, referrals can start immediately because the need is already in front of you.
THE MISTAKE TO AVOID
Concluding after a month that it does not work. Almost nobody earns meaningfully in the first quarter.
