WHAT TO ENTER

The domain name The document root, which cPanel suggests

WHAT CPANEL CREATES

A directory for the site A subdomain on your main domain, in older cPanel versions DNS entries, if your nameservers are ours

THE SUBDOMAIN SIDE EFFECT

Older cPanel versions create a subdomain of your main domain pointing at the same directory.

That means the site is reachable at two addresses.

Redirect or block the subdomain version if you do not want it indexed.

AFTER CREATING IT

Upload the site to its directory Run AutoSSL Create email accounts for that domain if needed Check the domain resolves

IF IT DOES NOT RESOLVE

Check the nameservers at the registrar.
