Rebuilding the zone.

WHAT YOU NEED

The record list you took before starting.

If you did not take one, look up what is currently published before changing nameservers.

WHAT TO CREATE HERE

A records for the domain, www and subdomains MX records, if mail is here

TXT records: SPF, DKIM, and any verification records

Anything else from your list

IF MAIL STAYS ELSEWHERE

MX records must point there, and the mail hostname must resolve.

Set cPanel email routing to remote for that domain.

Without that, mail sent from your website goes to a local mailbox and appears to vanish.

FOR VERIFICATION RECORDS

Recreate them. Search Console, business profiles and payment gateways re-check periodically.

WHEN TO CREATE THEM

Before changing nameservers, so the new servers already hold correct answers.

VERIFYING

Query the new nameservers directly before switching.

Confirm they return what you expect.
