Twelve months of topics.

STEP ONE: GATHER YOUR RAW MATERIAL

The questions customers actually ask. From enquiries, calls, messages, support requests.

Twenty questions is plenty.

STEP TWO: ASK FOR ANALYSIS

"Here are questions customers ask. Which would make useful articles, and why?"

STEP THREE: ADD YOUR SEASONALITY

"Our busy period is [when]. Customers ask about [X] in [month]."

STEP FOUR: ASK FOR A PLAN

"Produce a twelve-month content plan, one topic per month, with a one-line note on what each covers."

STEP FIVE: EDIT IT

Remove topics you have nothing specific to say about.

Leave two or three months open for whatever becomes topical.

STEP SIX: WORK BACKWARDS FOR SEASONAL CONTENT

December content should exist by October.

STEP SEVEN: WRITE THE FIRST ONE

A plan with nothing published is not progress.

THE REALISTIC CADENCE

Monthly, sustained, beats weekly abandoned.
